Jerez de la Frontera is a small city with a great reputation for its sherry wineries and for its dancing horse school. It is also a home to Flamenco singing. It is located inland from Costa Ballena, in the chalky hills of Cádiz.

One of the largest wineries is GONZALEZ BYASS, founded in Jerez in 1835 and dedicated to producing products of the very highest quality.

More than 45 millions of liters of Jerez wine and Brandy are stored in the wineries of Jerez. Many are famous because of the historic buildings. A stroll through the wineries becomes time travel through the History, from the most ancient and traditional techniques to the most modern winemaking process.

We will enjoy a guided tour in the Tio Pepe Winery, visiting wine cellars that contain casks which are over 300 years old, learning about the history of the wines of Jerez and the winemaking production. The tour will conclude with a tasting of some of their most famous brands accompanied by a delightful equestrian show offered by The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation, www.realescuela.org. They will offer an extraordinary spectacle within the fully bodega-style setting.
