Bursaries will be available for young scientists (age limit 35) according to the following conditions:
Applicants should:
- Be, or have been, a student at an institution of higher learning in a country where there is a FEBS Constituent Society
- Be a member of a FEBS Constituent Society
- Be a registered student or within 5 years of receiving a Ph.D.
· Be travelling from their current country of residence (any other than Spain)
- Not have received a fellowship from the Youth Travel Fund to attend an Advanced Course in the current year.
Online Application must be submitted before May 11th, 2012, and it will include:
- Personal Details
- Academic Data
- Status: PhD Student, Post-Doctoral, Professor or Researcher.
- Society Membership: proof of FEBS Constituent Society membership in a PDF format is required.
- Curriculum Vitae: focus must be on selected publications (with ISI Impact Factor).
If you do not have a valid FEBS membership, please contact the corresponding organization in your country of origin.
These bursaries will only cover the registration fees of the recipients. Therefore travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered.
First, recipients will have to perform the payment (€450 young researchers and €200 PhD student) through the online registration site and, then, will be reimbursed the congress registration fee upon check-in in person at the Congress venue (4-9 September 2012. Sevilla, Spain).
Winners must present a communication as the first author, and must submit an abstract during the registration process before the abstract submission deadline (May 31, 2012).
